Security Officer, Part Time (HR192) - Cambridge

Security Officer required to provide a professional and efficient Security Service to our client in Cambridge.

Role Details:

Hours available: 24 Contracted hours

Shift Pattern: Weekend Days

Remuneration: £9.50 per hour. Double time on Bank Holidays

Role Requirements: Full Driving Licence, SIA Licence and a 5 year checkable work history

About your new role:

As a Security Officer covering one of our prestigious sites in Cambridge, your primary duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Must have excellent customer service skills and be of a polite and professional nature
  • Access Control procedures - ensuring client's expectations are maintained and comply with the site's policies at all times
  • Maintain detailed and accurate completion of company and client's documentation, some of which would be electronic
  • Telephone techniques - responsible for receiving and transferring both external and internal calls in a professional manner
  • Key Management 
  • Monitoring CCTV and alarm systems 
  • Patrolling duties - predominantly vehicle patrols and escorts
  • Provide support in an emergency or activation situation in a calm and professional manner and actively provide information to any emergency services when requested to do so
  • Be a committed team member supporting colleagues
  • Be fully aware of the company's and client's Health, Safety and Environmental systems, policies and procedures
Skills & Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • 5 years checkable employment history
  • Frontline SIA Licence
  • Full, valid driver’s licence, own transport and scope to travel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
